Assembly & Care
Assembly
Every piece ships flat-packed with numbered hardware, the tools you need and a printed step-by-step booklet. Most cabinets and dressers take one to two people between 45 and 120 minutes; tall and triple-wide bookcases are easier and safer with a second pair of hands.
A few tips
- Lay out and identify the numbered hardware before you start.
- Keep every bolt finger-tight until the whole frame is together, then tighten in sequence — it keeps the piece square.
- Build tall pieces close to where they'll stand; they're awkward to move once assembled.
- Always fit the included anti-tip hardware on tall bookcases, dressers and cabinets.
Care
Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth — no harsh solvents. Keep the piece dry; engineered wood doesn't like standing water. If a drawer starts to drag, a little dry lubricant on the glides brings it back. Re-check the main bolts once or twice a year and your furniture stays quiet and solid.
Loading & safety
Respect the shelf ratings on the product page, put heavier items low, and keep any tall piece anchored to the wall — especially in a home with children or pets.
